Expressways encourages language skills through play, and builds self-confidence.
The class begins with a phrase, which introduces the theme of the day. As children discuss their understanding of the phrase, we emphasize the potential of phrases and idioms in spoken and written language.
Expressways also includes fun games with anagrams, homonyms and rhyming challenges that serve as ice-breakers as well as warm-up exercises for creative thinking.
